Treble on Huntington is raising funds for our first full-length studio album!
We honestly could never have guessed that our group would have the opportunity to
record a full-length album if we were asked just a few years ago. But flash forward a
few semesters of exponential growth, past the addition of our newest, most
talented members, past gigs in front of thousands, and past the success of our first EP, and we realized that this far-off dream could be a reality.
We like to think of ourselves as a group of friends who are also dedicated singers. With your help, we hope to put forth an album that reflects our tireless efforts in rehearsal as well as the close bonds we have with each other.
If you'd like to learn more about this endeavor, or would like to donate towards our cause, please visit our Kickstarter page! Our fundraiser has just over a week left!
On February 18th, Treble on Huntington competed in our 5th International
Competition of Collegiate A Cappella. This annual showcase marks a high point in
our year and consists of us performing 4 songs with choreography within a 12
minute set in hopes to place and move closer to the coveted title.
Singing on such a large stage only brought us closer together as our hard work and sisterhood were on full display. With family and friends cheering us on in the
audience of the Berklee Performance Center, our set landed us 4th place out of the 8 competing groups with rave reviews from the night's judges. The evening's highlight was celebrating as a group when our beat boxer, Kellyanne Caccavale, was
awarded "Best Vocal Percussion" for the second year in a row. It was a night to remember.
Back in January, Treble welcomed two incredible new members to our group,
Francesca Pagnone and Surabhi Godbole. We interviewed these talented singers so that you could get to know and love them as much as we do!
Favorite Food: Everything that's edible, seriously. If i could, I would spend my days eating Italian food, but I think I'm starting a relationship with two beautiful guys:
Mac & Cheese.
Favorite Season and Holiday: Oh, tough question. Summer wins as the best season,
but nothing can replace grandma's Christmas lunch.
Favorite Song to Jam To: Another tough question. Any song by Etta James would be
literally perfect in every situation.
Something Random About Me: I still believe that one day, Prince Harry will marry me. If you can dream it, you can do it.
Dream Job: Artist and repertoire manager for a music label. (Maybe I'll finally meet Justin Bieber <3).
Favorite Season and Holiday: I love fall, but St. Patrick's Day is easily the best holiday. (Not sure if it is an actual holiday but if it isn't then it totally should be.)
Something Random About Me: I like to tap dance while I cook.
Dream Job: Host of SNL
