On March 9th, Treble released an awesome new single covering "Stay" by Zedd ft. Alessia Cara. Our beautiful and talented Surabhi Godbole nails the solo, and you'll find yourself dancing and singing along. "Stay" was a part of our recent ICCA set that landed us 3rd place.
We had so much fun creating this piece of music, and are incredibly excited tosee it out on Spotify and Apple Music! Check it out below!
In February, Treble competed in the International Competition for Collegiate A Cappella (also known as the ICCAs) at Berklee College of Music this year, placing 3rd place in our quarterfinal for the first time ever! We were so proud to hear our names called, but even prouder of the performance we gave on stage.
It's been a while, but we have lots to update the world on!
Number 1 - A decade of Treble!
Treble celebrated our 10th anniversary as a group this past fall. Our end-of-semester showcase brought out a crowd of our lovely alumnae, who we were thrilled to reconnect with. It is crazy how large our extended Treble family has become!
Number 2 - Zenith, our first full-length studio album
Right in time to celebrate a decade of Treble, our group's growth was commemorated with the release of our first full-length album, Zenith. Our family, friends, and fans helped us make this album become a reality, and we couldn't be more pleased with the result. Check it out on Spotify and Apple Music, as well.
Number 3 - A great year so far...
During this school year, we've had the pleasure of singing at several really cool venues, including Northeastern's EMPOWER and the Massachusetts Conference for Women. We are so grateful for all the support we receive from our friends and family, fellow groups, and industry professionals, and we can't wait to see what the rest of the year brings!
Treble on Huntington alumnae join the current group on stage for a family portrait at our fall 2017 show.
Northeastern's fall semester commences in just a few weeks which means it's nearly Treble on Huntington's favorite time of year.... FALL AUDITIONS! We love nothing
than to hear new voices and welcome new family.
If you are remotely interested in singing or beatboxing for an a cappella group,
our advice is to go for it and audition. The process is short and simple - less than 10 minutes.
Details about our auditions are below. Walk-ins are 100% welcomed, however we
highly suggest setting up a specific audition time so you don't have to wait around
when you're nervous / excited to perform. To do this, head over to our contact page
and drop us a line! We'd be happy to help.
Saturday, September 9th - 9am to 7pm
Sunday, September 10th - 9am to 1pm
Callbacks will be at night on Sunday, September 10th.
Treble on Huntington is raising funds for our first full-length studio album!
We honestly could never have guessed that our group would have the opportunity to
record a full-length album if we were asked just a few years ago. But flash forward a
few semesters of exponential growth, past the addition of our newest, most
talented members, past gigs in front of thousands, and past the success of our first EP, and we realized that this far-off dream could be a reality.
We like to think of ourselves as a group of friends who are also dedicated singers. With your help, we hope to put forth an album that reflects our tireless efforts in rehearsal as well as the close bonds we have with each other.
If you'd like to learn more about this endeavor, or would like to donate towards our cause, please visit our Kickstarter page! Our fundraiser has just over a week left!
On February 18th, Treble on Huntington competed in our 5th International
Competition of Collegiate A Cappella. This annual showcase marks a high point in
our year and consists of us performing 4 songs with choreography within a 12
minute set in hopes to place and move closer to the coveted title.
Singing on such a large stage only brought us closer together as our hard work and sisterhood were on full display. With family and friends cheering us on in the
audience of the Berklee Performance Center, our set landed us 4th place out of the 8 competing groups with rave reviews from the night's judges. The evening's highlight was celebrating as a group when our beat boxer, Kellyanne Caccavale, was
awarded "Best Vocal Percussion" for the second year in a row. It was a night to remember.
Back in January, Treble welcomed two incredible new members to our group,
Francesca Pagnone and Surabhi Godbole. We interviewed these talented singers so that you could get to know and love them as much as we do!
Favorite Food: Everything that's edible, seriously. If i could, I would spend my days eating Italian food, but I think I'm starting a relationship with two beautiful guys:
Mac & Cheese.
Favorite Season and Holiday: Oh, tough question. Summer wins as the best season,
but nothing can replace grandma's Christmas lunch.
Favorite Song to Jam To: Another tough question. Any song by Etta James would be
literally perfect in every situation.
Something Random About Me: I still believe that one day, Prince Harry will marry me. If you can dream it, you can do it.
Dream Job: Artist and repertoire manager for a music label. (Maybe I'll finally meet Justin Bieber <3).
Favorite Season and Holiday: I love fall, but St. Patrick's Day is easily the best holiday. (Not sure if it is an actual holiday but if it isn't then it totally should be.)
Something Random About Me: I like to tap dance while I cook.
Dream Job: Host of SNL
